Welcome to Rebuilding Together Portland
We are a non-profit organization in our 22nd successful year of operation. We unite volunteers of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life to assist people who cannot physically or financially complete needed repairs to their homes. The organization's focus began as an annual "barn-raising" event designed to repair and rehabilitate the homes of low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners as well as selected community non-profit facilities on the last Saturday in April. Thanks to the continued support of sponsors and volunteers, Rebuilding Together Portland is now able to put together projects throughout the year. Learn more
We celebrated our 22nd National Rebuild Day on April 28, 2012. Our goal was to repair and rehabilitate over 45 homes (and a non-profit community facility), and by every measure the day was a success!
We have some great photos from this year's project day. Thank you to the photographers that volunteered their time to document the work that our wonderful volunteers complete during the year. A great quote from one of our project homeowner's family: "I don't know how to put into words how much I want to thank everyone that helped on the house. It was a great experience for all of us, I think, and it definitely inspired me to go out and help others."
A few of our sponsors - thank you for making this all possible!
